Once again

So, once again it has been a over a month since I have written anything about anything. So sad. I wish I could find the motivation to write more. I know I have plenty to write about.

To start, I wanted to put more pictures up, but I have not found an amazingly easy way to do so. Also, since I keep changing the method to my madness, it is difficult to keep track of all my photos. Somehow I wish I only had to label them once via the file, and all internet programs would pick up on that description. Oh well, a girl can dream.

Secondly, I have been invited to go on another adventure from the 22nd through the 29th of December. My wonderful friend Amanda has invited me to go on a cruise in the Caribbean with her. I am VERY excited!! I will take many pictures and hopefully be diligent enough to post them. :-)

As far as the rest of my life, I still work for Inside the Outdoors and I am still looking for a full time, salary, with benefits job. I love the work I'm doing at the moment, but it's neither in the place I want to be living, nor is it paying me enough to live in Orange County, California.

Although I feel like I've been saying this for ages, I hope my options come around soon! I'm starting to feel a bit stuck, and I know I'm the only one to blame for it. If only I weren't so picky. I'm sure I could work at Fred Myers in Fairbanks if I really wanted to be back in Alaska. Then I ask myself, would I really be happy? Hmmm... like I said, feeling a bit stuck (physically and emotionally).

I want to feel that I'm doing what these Night Bloomers in our front yard were doing after a heat wave here in California this past October... blooming and creating an atmosphere of joy. Or, I want to feel like this beautiful new plant growing out of the ashes to see all of the light to start a new life, a new adventure.

(This photo was taken at Santiago Oaks Regional Park approximately four months after a fire. Regrowth is so beautiful. This landscape needed it.)

Dylan took me on a hike on Mt. Nebo and Mt. Glorious one day. It was good as you can see!

My fav part of James visit

While James was in Queensland we spent Australia Day north of Brisbane. My boyfriend Dylan paid for a vacation aptartment at Sunshine Beach. It was amazing!! We were only a minute walk from the beach, a very short walk from food, and a short drive from a national park!! The first day there James, James' friend, Dylan and I spent the day playing in the surf! It was so clear and the temperature was PERFECT! The next day we went for a hike in Noosa National Park! I couldn't have asked for a better vacation!!
The only thing that made the vacation not that great for Dylan, was the fact that he had 2nd degree burns on his shoulders and back afterwards. Otherwise he thought it was great as well. :-)

The view from our living room/bedroom/balcony!!

Sunset out on our balcony. So amazing!

Beautiful Hell's Gates in Noosa National Park!

Yay Koalas!

Some of the beach in Noosa National Park.

Some more of the beach in Noosa National Park, Queensland. Beautiful!

James and I also

We also spent some time in the city of Brisbane, Queensland. Where they have their Story Bridge (a smaller version of the Sydney Harbor Bridge), a rockin' city ferry called the City Cat, a Napalese temple, and the man made City Beach by the river.

More than just Fiji

Now I know that as far as this blog is concerned it looks as if I have fallen off the face of the planet.

But, I have not. As a matter of fact, I have been very active.

Here are some pictures of what has happened since the beginning of the year.

In February my brother came to visit my in Brisbane.

One of the many things that we did was go to Dreamworld.

Yay for nice taxi guys who will take your picture.

I do look at little crazy don't I?

Oh,no! Someone save my brother!

All I have to do is keep his mouth shut, right?

Did not realize

I did not realize that I had so many followers of my photo blog, so when I got busy it fell to the wayside unfortunately.

Hopefully though, I will be continuing the blog where I left off, shortly. :) I look forward to it!

Another Update.. with pictures even

Fiji was good. Not extreamly memorable, but I met some good people, and the weather and the water was beautiful!

The Blue Lagoon... the hike across the islandto get to it was kind of a pain... but the water was really beautiful, and it was nice to take a dip in the water after that.

This hike was pretty cool too... though very very HOT! Too bad Rowan was sick for it... oh well.

Rowan and I on the boat on the way to Manta Ray Bay Resort. One of the best resorts we went to after Robinson Crusoe Island. The other good Resort was Bounty Island.  I was sick for Manta Ray, and Rowan was sick for Bounty (poor him because he really wanted to drink a lot of Bounty Rum while he was on that island). It was a wicked cool island too!! I think over all we liked Robinson Crusoe Island the best though. We got to do so much stuff there. Wish I had taken more pictures!

Christmas in Muwala, New South Wales, Australia was pretty good too. It was good to see family. That family makes me crack up too!!

Here's the kids! We're a bunch of goofs!

Christmas crown on my head and a Christmas tree behind me. They had super weird weather this year.. so summer felt like a Cali Christmas.. that was kind of cool.

Got to see Roos in the backyard (17 to be exact, so said my uncle).

And there were some beautiful sunsets as well!

I'm now looking to move off campus for my first and only semester of 2007. I'm almost done! Yay! Kind of stressful looking for a place, getting ready for next semester and waiting for my brother to arrive (he's coming to vistit for two weeks... and just turned 18, so I get to take him out on the town). Yay!!

Yep, that's my life in a nut shell at the moment.
