On the train to Innsbruck from Aversa

This is the train station closest to my aunt Hope's place. I left here at something like 5am or so. Sorry Aunt Hope.. oops didn't mean to wake you that early.

On the train.

Snow in Northern Italy!

So excited and happy to be going back to Austria! I recieved no rest on the train. :-) I met all sorts of interesting people though. :-) Yay!

In Innsbruck with my friend Angelo. I was reminising about the first time I went out in Innsbruck, at this cafe.

Palace Caserta, Old Caserta and the Med Sea

I really just wanted to get a picture of the words Reggia di Caserta. That means Castle of Caserta. What an incredible place. You would never think that a castle modeled after Versailles in France would be found in Italy. It seems like such a random place. To think this whole area used to be farming and nothingness anyhow. Just crazy!

The center hallway through the castle.

The sign for the massive gardens for the castle. I mean really, who needs a massive man made waterfall in their backyard? Silly kings.

No that thing at the end of the pathway is not a statue or monument,... it's the waterfall.

The lion was going to attack my aunt and my cousin's friend, so I turned him into a marble lion. Crazy huh? Ha, I crack myself up!

This is the throne room. You can tell by the huge amount of gold in the room.

This was the painting in the ceiling of the throne room. The painting is one of the king's court.

The master bedroom!

Amazing artwork on every ceiling and wall!

The entry staircase was built off to the side of the main hallway so that the view of the garden was not obstructed.

Old Caserta. Great medieval city. Not much more I can say about it.

The Mediterranean Sea.

more wine tasting near Naples

The family that I met while taking a wine tasting tour through the military base. They were from Chicago. :-)

Tuesday Jan. 10th in Rome

The tomb of the unknown soldier is housed here and this building is one of the easiest places to find in all of Rome. Getting lost in Rome is incredibly easy!!

The Roman Forum.

The Pantheon.

The fountain of Four Rivers. Very beautiful... and interesting. Read Dan Brown's Angels and Demons.

Mmm.. Gellato served by an Italian that was obsessed with rap and kept singing "California love..." to me. LOL You had to be there. Italians are crazy I tell you! :-)

Trevi Fountain. All fountains used to be the ends of aqueducts.

All I can think of is that the thing in the water is cleaning the fountain of coins.

Cleaning it so that these people don't take it. It wasn't a problem before the Euro, because people where throwing in Lire that weren't worth anything. Now people are throwing in one or two dollars... what a money maker!

These are the two girls I met from Brown University. They were very cool to hang-out with.

Self-taken photo at the Coliseum. :-) Wow, I look tired. Too bad I was too late to go into the Coliseum or the Roman Forum. Too much time eating Gellato! That's okay! It was yummy!!

Will be amazed if this works

This is the day after we got back. We drove my cousin Rob (the one on the far right) to the airport. My cousin Daniel lives here in Lago Patra with my aunt.

Alberobello day 2

Extra Virgin Olive Oil.

The 2nd day in Italy I was in Alberobello

All the little houses together are called Tulli and one little house is called a Tullo. My aunt Hope, my cousin Rob, his friend Joe and I stayed in one Trullo.

The live nativity.
