I really just wanted to get a picture of the words Reggia di Caserta. That means Castle of Caserta. What an incredible place. You would never think that a castle modeled after Versailles in France would be found in Italy. It seems like such a random place. To think this whole area used to be farming and nothingness anyhow. Just crazy!

The center hallway through the castle.

The sign for the massive gardens for the castle. I mean really, who needs a massive man made waterfall in their backyard? Silly kings.

No that thing at the end of the pathway is not a statue or monument,... it's the waterfall.

The lion was going to attack my aunt and my cousin's friend, so I turned him into a marble lion. Crazy huh? Ha, I crack myself up!

This is the throne room. You can tell by the huge amount of gold in the room.

This was the painting in the ceiling of the throne room. The painting is one of the king's court.

The master bedroom!

Amazing artwork on every ceiling and wall!

The entry staircase was built off to the side of the main hallway so that the view of the garden was not obstructed.
Old Caserta. Great medieval city. Not much more I can say about it.

The Mediterranean Sea.
